The Rezzonico Chandelier and its history

The Rezzonico Chandelier has been invented by Giuseppe Briati a famous glass maker widely known for his production of blown glass, engraved glass with color, decorations, curls and flowers. He created the first big chandelier for a venetian family named Rezzonico and that's why nowadays this type of chandelier is called "Rezzonico". The chandelier is rich in flowers, colours polychrome elements and ornamental details, it's characterized by "bossole", small pieces of glass fitted togheter which run along the arms and its structure ensure a great deal of freedom when designing a very high and wide light fixture.

It's always been considered a perfect choise for prestigious buildings and it's still considered one of the most elegant and polished style of chandelier.
